Looking Good (Fashion)
This summer, my outfits landed somewhere between Carrie Bradshaw and Fran Fine with super mismatched separates mingling alongside hyper-feminine matching sets. Color was liberally used (no surprise there). I embraced the mesh flat and all things beachy; my love for blue and green knew no bounds.

Vibe Check
Somehow each and every summer leaves me both longing for more and just barely escaping with my sanity. It’s the season for falling in love, making envy-worthy memories, and evolving into your highest self–right? The expectation that summer needs to be as transformative as movies portray it is one I’ve personally clung to like a life raft every year since I was truly sentient. But while trying to maximize every cinematic moment for my Instagram feed, I had to confront a less sparkly reality of finding an apartment, packing, and moving. This is how I spent most of May and June. Maybe all the stress and sacrifice gave me a better perspective on the summer. I ventured to the beach almost every weekend, attempting the old college try to accept the inherent ephemerality of summer. Its weather so fickle, its plans endless. And since I moved my whole life to a new apartment, I am leaving this summer a different person than when I started, just like all my favorite seasonal protagonists.
